The Towpath Trust can within its Memorandum and Articles offer assistance to any Charitable Organisation which is involved with providing care and support to those who have difficulty living with their medical condition.
Volunteer Transport Service
The Directors have noted travel to therapy appointments, meetings, entertainments or other events organised by participating organisations can be difficult or impossible. This project will use volunteers with their own cars or the Towpath Trust’s own vehicle to provide transport to the venue where the organisation has it’s own event.
Long-term Disability Self Management Course
The self management course is a course which is for those who are of working age who are living with a long term disability. It is made up of four sessions with each session lasting approximately four hours.
